Dr. Pepper Ballpark and Frisco RoughRiders
Does your family like baseball? Downtown Frisco is home to two baseball arenas, and each season you can enjoy games with the Frisco’s Minor League Baseball team, the RoughRiders. Don’t like baseball? These arenas also put on concerts, movies, and other reasonably priced events for your family-friendly outings.
National Videogame Museum
Ranked as the #2 family-friendly activity, the National Videogame Museum houses a fantastic collection of video gaming memorabilia. Most of the games and exhibits are interactive too, so you’ll be able to play together or against one another—and show your kids how videogames are played! The museum hours vary due to holidays and depending on the season but are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on most other days.
iFly
If you are an extreme adventure kind of family, try iFly, the indoor skydiving activity. iFly supplies a safe and family-friendly environment where you and your kids can experience what it’s like to go skydiving. If you like it, you can go back over and over again (and maybe learn some new tricks together). If you’re looking to go on a weekday, iFly is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. If you want to go on a Saturday, they open an hour earlier at 9:00 a.m.
Main Event Entertainment
This sports complex has dining, laser tag, bowling, and more. Enjoy a casual dining experience with an in-house chef, along with gravity ropes, karaoke, mini golf—chances are you’ll spend many hours here and still will need more time to have more fun. This complex is open from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m.
Frisco Public Library
While the public library is, of course, an excellent place for your family to find education and entertainment, did you know that they also pretty much always have something more going on?
